Welcome back! We hope you had a wonderful holiday season. As we return, we’re hitting the ground running with finals, sports trips, clubs, and even a dance—there’s so much to look forward to as we wrap up the first semester and dive into the second half of the year.
Important Dates & Updates:
- Report cards will be published in Aspen on January 21. Semester grades are calculated by averaging the first and second quarter. If your student has an incomplete due to absence or special circumstances, they will have 10 days to work with their teacher to resolve it.
- Semester Two begins January 20, and students have a 10-day window to make any schedule adjustments.
Celebrating Student Success:
We’re excited to recognize our students’ hard work!
- High School: Open Gym during seminar on February 20—games, social time, popcorn, and refreshments!
- 6th Grade: Goodie bags in the cafeteria on February 12.
- 7th Grade: Lunch at the NEX on February 11 (supervision provided).
- 8th Grade: Lunch at the NEX on February 10 (supervision provided).
Students may purchase lunch at the NEX, bring lunch from home, or buy lunch in the cafeteria and carry it to the food court.
Did you know:
All Grade 11 students will take the SAT for free during the school day! In addition, any Grade 12 students who have not yet taken the SAT will also be included.
This year’s SAT will be administered on Thursday, March 5—mark your calendars! The SAT is fully digital, and students will complete the test using their Chromebooks.
