Hello Jaguars!
We are officially in the home stretch! As we wind down the school year, there are a few important updates to keep on your radar.
Senior Sprint & Finals
Finals are right around the corner! Senior finals begin immediately after the Memorial Day holiday. You can find the full schedule in your email and on our social media channels.
The pace is really picking up for our seniors! Between graduation practices, final material turn-ins, the senior dinner, and the big graduation ceremony, it is going to be a whirlwind. Let's not forget Prom, which promises to be a truly memorable night in a beautiful location! While this is an incredibly joyous time, it can also bring a little stress and nostalgia. Seniors, please remember to take care of yourselves! Get plenty of rest, eat well, and enjoy these final days knowing we are here to support and celebrate you every step of the way.
Grades 6–11 Updates
Finals for grades 6 through 11 will begin on June 4. Like the senior schedule, you can view the timing details on our social media and in your email.
We also have a ton of fun activities lined up for the middle school! Get ready for a high-energy spirit week, an awesome pep rally, and a special extended recess before lunch on May 26th featuring indoor and outdoor games, painting, and so much more.
Tech Turn-In Preparation
It is time to prep your Chromebooks for collection! To help us ensure a smooth process, please take care of the following ahead of time:
- Clean it up: Remove all personal stickers.
- Secure the stylus: Make sure it is safely stowed inside the keyboard slot.
- Grab the gear: Don't forget to bring your charger.
Seniors will hand in their devices during graduation practice, and all other students will turn theirs in on the last day of school. Your preparation makes a massive difference, and we appreciate your help!
Honoring Memorial Day
As we head into the holiday weekend, we pause as a school community to honor and remember the brave service members who lost their lives in service to our country. We are deeply grateful for their ultimate sacrifice. Wishing all of our families a safe, peaceful, and meaningful weekend.

We are incredibly proud to celebrate 17 outstanding students who earned AP Scholar distinctions from the College Board this year. These prestigious national awards recognize high school students who display exceptional college-level achievement on their Advanced Placement exams. Our students absolutely shined across all three tiers of recognition. Please join us in congratulating our 7 AP Scholars, who scored a 3 or higher on three or more exams; our 3 AP Scholars with Honor, who earned a 3.25 or higher average on four or more exams; and our 7 AP Scholars with Distinction, who maintained a 3.5 or higher average across five or more exams. We applaud these dedicated scholars for their hard work, academic rigor, and remarkable success!
Department Spotlight
In Mrs. Tesfay's class, students completed their independent reading project for the last cycle. For this project, students read every day and completed a writing prompt. After students completed twelve prompts, they attached their prompts together to create a blooming ball showcasing information from their book.
