Jaguars are on our final lap around SY 25-26. The tempo has not slowed, however!
We have had a busy few weeks and have a busy few coming up. Our high school students are finishing AP exams. This year students sat for a whopping 20 exams. We are so proud of our students as they choose to challenge themselves with college level course work, learn how to preserve, manage their time, and learn a ton about subjects they have a special interest in.
Champs kicks off in Germany with Soccer, May 19-22, Track May 22-23 and Softball/Baseball May 21-23. We wish all participants a great championship season! Play hard, represent Sig with your dedication to fair play, show your Jaguar spirit.
Middle school students had a pep rally on Wednesday where classes had a chance to compete against each other during a variety of games. There were lots of smiles, some splashes of water, and hotly contested tug of war battles.
We honored our quarter three Students of the Quarter for grades 6-12 with a celebratory breakfast, certificates, kind words from teachers, and personalized gifts for our honorees. Way to go Michael, Raegan, Khapri, Aubrey, Hana, Andy, and Kayden!
The next few weeks bring a flurry of activities including our end of year awards ceremony on June 5 for grades 6-8 and on June 9 for grades 9-11. The ceremonies will take place in the JAG and will take place during seminar beginning promptly at 1330 each day. Families and students will receive notice if there is an award being given, but ALL are welcome to attend.
As a special event, our track team will hold an exhibition Meet on Monday, May 19 beginning at 4:45 with field events followed at 5:30 with track events. Come on out and see our Jaguars run
Stay tuned and watch your email and social media posts because we are not done yet with SY 24-25!

We celebrate positive actions by students with GOTCHAS! Staff members “catch” students being awesome and students receive a GOTCHA card that then may redeem in the office for a small reward and additional KUDOS from the front office. We love catching kids doing amazing things for our community, even small everyday acts of helpfulness or kindness.
Spotlight on Inquiry: AP Researchers Present Passion Projects with Purpose

In a whirlwind of creativity, curiosity, and caffeine, seven AP Research students took center stage this week to present the culminating projects of their academic journeys—each a masterpiece of independent investigation. As part of the AP Capstone program, these students have spent the year diving deep into questions that matter to them. With visuals as vibrant as their ideas, the students captivated their audience in the first part of their AP Exam, showcasing not just research skills but originality, poise, and passion. As they inch closer to earning the prestigious AP Capstone Certificate—or even the full AP Capstone Diploma—they’ve proven that when students are given the freedom to explore what fascinates them, the results are nothing short of extraordinary.
