It’s hard to believe this is the final edition of the Jaguar Journal for the 2024–2025 school year! Time has flown by, and our Jaguars are gearing up for a well-deserved summer break!

🎓 Congratulations to the Sigonella Middle High School Class of 2025!
We are incredibly proud of each and every one of you. As you head off on your next great adventure, know that we’re cheering you on every step of the way. Go Jags—forever!

A few important wrap-up reminders as we close out the year:

  • June 10 – Last ½ Day of School
Students will be released at 11:15 AM.
  • Chromebook Turn-In
Students in grades 6–11 will return their Chromebooks on June 10. Please don’t forget to bring your charger and stylus!
  • Final Checkout
Grades 6–11 will complete their end-of-year checkout with teachers, including returning books, clearing lockers, and visiting the library.
  • The SY 2025–2026 Calendar
The calendar is attached to your email and will also be shared on social media and in the Jag Journal on our website.
  • Tentative Schedules for SY 2025–2026
Draft schedules are being sent to student and parent emails. Please note that these are subject to change before the new school year begins.
➤ Rising seniors: If your schedule doesn’t meet graduation requirements, contact your counselor as soon as possible.
  • Grade 8 Spirit Celebration
Our 8th graders showed amazing spirit and were the top middle school class during Spring Spirit Week! To celebrate, they’re invited to enjoy lunch at the Food Court as they transition to high school, where off-campus lunch becomes an option.
➤ They may enjoy lunch at the Food Court from Thursday, June 5 through Monday, June 9 (the last day lunch is served at school). The cafeteria will remain open as usual.
  • Supply Lists

Please see the supply list sent to your email and posted on social media. We hope this helps to ensure our students are ready for class next year!

That’s a wrap for SY 24-25! We wish everyone a wonderful summer and will return with our first Jaguar Journal on August 22

IN THE KNOW IMAGE

Our Class of 2025 has some amazing fun facts. Here are just a few: Our seniors were accepted at a total of 40 universities with over $600,000 of scholarship and aid money provided. The Class of 2025 gives back by logging over 450 hours of community service hours. Finally, three quarters of our seniors participated in over two varsity sports each. We are extremely proud of our Class of 2025!

CELEBRATE 2025!

A circular badge with a white edge and the text "National School Public Relations Association". The inner circle has a blue background with the text "Publications and Digital Media Excellence Award". The bottom of the badge has a ribbon with the year 2025 in the middle of it, and just below this ribbon it has the text "Award of Merit Website".

We’re excited to share that DoDEA has won the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA) Publications and Digital Media Excellence Award – Website Award of Merit for our School Newsletters Project! This NSPRA award honors outstanding school communication efforts that help connect schools with their communities. This wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication of our amazing school webmasters. Thank you for keeping families connected with your hard work and heart!
